Burgo Fashion Institute students present their projects at Miroglio Fashion
A hands-on experience between education and the fashion industry
In recent days, Burgo Fashion Institute students in Fashion Design had the opportunity to present their projects at Miroglio Fashion, as part of a collaboration focused on developing a Spring/Summer 2027 capsule collection for the Fiorella Rubino brand.
The project represented an important opportunity for direct interaction with one of the most significant players in the Italian fashion scene, allowing students to apply their creative and design skills in a real-world professional context.
From the creative brief to the final presentation
After receiving the creative brief at the beginning of the year, the students developed their proposals, following all phases of the creative process, from research to collection design, under the guidance of instructor Sara Goria.
The day at Miroglio Fashion allowed participants to gain a firsthand insight into the workings of a fashion company, visiting the design offices, showrooms, and spaces where collections take shape.
Discussion with Industry Professionals
During the meeting, each student presented their project, receiving feedback and observations from industry professionals, including representatives of the Fiorella Rubino team and the Miroglio Group.
The direct interaction with designers, product managers, and professionals who contribute to the development of collections every day was particularly appreciated, offering students a concrete insight into business dynamics and the skills required by the job market.
Education and the world of work are increasingly closer
The initiative confirms the importance of collaborations between fashion schools and industry companies. For students, it represents a unique opportunity to experience real-world professional situations, while for companies, it is a chance to connect with new ideas, creativity, and emerging talent.
