Burgo Indonesia is very proud of our Burgonians – Benita and Janice at Milan Fashion Week 2020/2021!
They are the first Indonesian Fashion Designers to bring Batik to an International fashion show – Maquinn premier at Milan Fashion Week Spring Summer 2020/2021.Their collections were showcased beautifully in Palazzo Visconti, collaborating with anItalian stylist. The title is Pilgrimage collection which represents the opening the door to the sacred forbidden garden, by the creation of Adam & Eve and temptation. From East Asia match with South Asia creative hand painted with gold ink called batik prada, wisely chosen to match the Caucasian & Anglo-Saxon culture interpreted by regal colors as gold, dark sapphire blue, emerald green, beaded carefully with big rhinestone cover in luxurious texture design which represent many faces by temptation.
Seeing the success of the show, we are not forget to mention some supports behind this successful fashion show.First there is professor of Haute Couture in Milan – Biagio Belsito that give advise for the collection development, then there is Mr. Jonathan Ogarr that also give advise for the branding of Maquinn Couture, and then also our Founder of Burgo Indonesia – Ms. Jenny Yohana Kansil that always give her support for Benita and Janice in all the preparation, and lastly a big thanks for the support from Ambassador of Indonesia in Rome – Ms. Esti Andayani .The designer collection was published not only by local media such as Herworld Indonesia, Fimela, Kompas.com, Inews.id, but also International media such as Elle, Amica, Marie Claire, Madame Figaro, woman_es, and fashion magazine.it
From here we can see and learn that a wish is actually can be achieved, as long as there is a will and never stop pursuing the passion. Where there is a will, there is always a way.
